Plant Biology

Abdulquadri SAGAYA is a Lecturer II in the Department of Plant Biology, Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. With a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Botany, and a Ph.D. in Plant Biology, he has established himself as a dedicated researcher and educator. His research interests encompass systematic studies, Plant anatomy, and Taxonomy. Sagaya has published articles in renowned journals and presented his research at major conferences. Alongside his academic pursuits, he has actively contributed to administrative roles within the university, such as serving on committees and coordinating programs. Sagaya is a member of professional societies, including the Horticultural Society of Nigeria, Botanical Society of Nigeria (BOSON) Botanical Society of America (BSA). Through his teaching, research, and community service, Sagaya continues to make valuable contributions to the field of plant biology and inspire future generations of botanists and scientists.
