Sherif Babatunde ADEYEMI is a senior lecturer in the Department of Plant Biology, Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Ilorin, with more than a decade of experience in university teaching and research.

He has served in various departmental and faculty committees. His research interest covers Ethnobotany and Phytomedicine.

He has to his credit over forty research publications in reputable outlets covering journals, book chapters, and edited conference proceedings. Dr Adeyemi is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.

He is currently the Sub-Dean of the faculty of Life Sciences.
