Dr. Garuba, Taofeeq is a Reader (Associate Professor) in the Department of Plant Biology, Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Ilorin.  Beyond his teaching responsibilities, he served as the department’s clearance officer, level adviser and exam officer. He currently holds the position of departmental postgraduate coordinator. His primary research focus lies in the fields of Plant Pathology and Mycology. He publishes research articles in renowned national and international journals. He fulfills the role of an internal examiner for the relevant departments. Dr. Garuba has attended many conferences. He maintains collaborative research engagements with scholars within Nigeria and internationally. Dr. Garuba provides dedicated mentorship and academic guidance to his students.
