Olayinka Bolaji Umar (Ph.D) is a Reader in the Department of Plant Biology, Faculty of Life Sciences, and University of Ilorin. With special focus on groundnut, his research interests include crop physiology, stress physiology, photosynthesis, plant metabolism, plant nutritional quality and crop improvement. He has over 80 publications in top-tier journals and conferences. He currently serves as the Ag. Head of his Department.
