ABDULRAHAMAN, Abdullahi Alanamu is a Professor of Plant Anatomy and Taxonomy in the Department of Plant Biology, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He has over 100 publications in National and International Journals, and has attended and participated in many Conferences, Training, and Workshops. AbdulRahaman is a member of academic societies such as the Botanical Society of Nigeria, the Nigerian Society of Experimental Biology, the Society for Conservation of Phytofuel and Sciences, the Society of Biology, the Society of Herbarium Curator, and the American Society of Plant Taxonomists. He has been Head of Department and has chaired and served in many statutory panels, and committees in the University. His current research is on microprobing of some selected plants to increase their potential production medicinally and economically. He has successfully supervised 5 Ph.Ds., 21 M.Scs. and he is currently supervising 7 Ph.Ds.
